Responsible credit card use

Think carefully about the items you purchase with a credit card.  If you are not able to afford the purchase now, chances are you won’t be able to afford it in a month when the credit card payment comes in!  Credit card services can be very convenient for a variety of reasons but making purchases that do fall inside of your budget is not one of them.  Use the right credit cards responsibly and always manage your credit and your credit card purchases.  If you do fall behind because of excessive spending, cut your recreational expenses or get into the habit of paying for cash for things like movies so you know that you can really afford them.  Then see if finding a new credit card with a better credit card interest rate or a balance transfer may help.
